Behind every GhioldiRosano piece is a conversation, a debate, and a shared passion.
Many people ask us how a creative studio formed by a couple actually works. Does one person draw while the other watches? Not at all. At GhioldiRosano, every artwork is the result of a constant, vibrant dialogue—sometimes intense, always rewarding—between two different but complementary visions.
The Digital “Veto”: Refining the Abstract
When we work on our abstract collections, the magic happens in real-time. While Daniel works on the graphic tablet, layering colors and exploring bold new forms, Estela provides the “aesthetic anchor.”
Estela has a unique gift: an instinctive eye for balance and harmony. As the work evolves on the screen, we exchange opinions. If Daniel places a color or a shape that Estela feels doesn’t resonate or “doesn’t belong,” she interposes a veto. If Daniel cannot justify its presence, it is removed.
That is the beauty of digital art—the work changes and breathes before our eyes. We push each other until the piece achieves a level of sophistication that neither of us could have reached alone.
Beyond the Lens: Landscapes and Wildlife
Our process for landscapes and animals is even more meticulous. We don’t just “paint a photo”; we tell a story about a place.
- Documentation: We begin by deeply researching photographic material of the location to understand its light, its environment, and its true colors.
- The Artistic Filter: This is where we break away from the “cold” objective of a camera. Daniel uses the tablet to sketch freely, adding or removing elements to highlight what really matters.
- The Fusion: By blending traditional pictorial techniques with AI and digital editing, we create a vision that is more poetic than a simple photograph.
Why This Matters for Your Home
When you hang one of our 45 x 60 cm (18 x 24″) canvases in your living room, you aren’t just hanging a print. You are hanging the result of hours of curation, selection, and creative friction.
Every color has survived a veto; every landscape has been distilled to its most beautiful essence. It is art that has been thought out, debated, and finally, loved by both of us before it ever reaches you.
From our studio in Uruguay to your home in Europe, thank you for being part of our story.
